Gonzalo Tiesi will play for the Quins next season

Harlequins have made a move in the transfer market and have signed outside centre Gonzalo Tiesi from Premiership rivals London Irish. Tiesi has been capped 12 times by Argentina and the 22 year old will hook up with his new team mates at the end of this season.

Dean Richards, Harlequins' Director of Rugby, said "Gonzalo is a great footballer with a huge amount of pace and skill and is an extremely exciting player." Tiesi added "I think that it is time for the next step in my career and i am excited about the move."

Harlequins have lost the services of centre Hal Luscombe who has signed for Worcester Warriors and have now covered the space left by him.
